According to the Panchang, the Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start on September 29 at 04:47 pm and will end on the next day i.e. September 30 at 07:06 pm. Lord Shiva is worshipped during Pradosh Kaal on Trayodashi Tithi. Hence Pradosh Vrat will be observed on September 29. On this day, Pradosh Kaal i.e. the time of worship is from 06:09 pm to 08:34 pm. During this time, devotees can worship Lord Shiva.

If we believe the astrologers, Sadhya Yoga is being formed on the first Pradosh fast of Ashwin month. This yoga will end at 12:28 in the night. On the first Pradosh fast of Ashwin month, the combination of Shivvas Yoga is being formed till 04:47 in the evening. An auspicious combination of Taitil and Gar Karan is also being formed.
