ASP said that accused Akil, who questioned a Pakistani cleric online regarding the violence, has been arrested. He said that a video was circulated based on false facts. Pakistani citizen Mohammad Ali Mirza had given martyr status to the people involved in the incident. When investigation was done in this case, Akil was identified. He has been arrested. Mobile has also been recovered from the possession of the accused. Further action is being taken.

Bail plea of ​​15 people rejected
On the other hand, a local court in the district on Thursday rejected the bail plea of ​​15 accused in connection with the violence over the mosque survey in November last year. Government lawyer Hariom Prakash Saini said that Additional District Judge (II) Nirbhay Narayan Singh heard the bail pleas of the accused, but refused to grant bail citing strong evidence presented in the court. Saini said, "All the accused were identified in the CCTV footage and the complainant had named them in the FIR. They were part of the crowd despite the prohibitory orders being in place. When they were asked to move from there, they refused and instead attacked the police with stones and firearms. Several civilians were killed and about 25 policemen were injured in the incident.

The court reviewed the case record, including evidence, of the case registered at Sambhal police station, in which the accused, Aamir, Sameer, Yakub, Sajjadduin, Sajju, Mohammad Rehan, Mohammad Ali, Shariq, Naeem, Mohammad Gulfam, Mohammad Salim, Tehzeeb, Mohammad Feroz and Mohammad Shadab were booked. The bail plea of ​​all of them was rejected. Similarly, in the case registered at Nakhasa police station, the court also refused to grant bail to accused Rukaiya and Farhana, according to officials.
