Uttar Pradesh Police started expanded environmental enforcement against unlawful mining practices to protect state areas affected by unregulated mineral and sand extractions which harm the environment. The operation successfully resulted in multiple arrests of illegal mining participants and obtained seizure of their mining tools. Such activities have created environmental destruction because the government remains dedicated to curbing this damage which results in deforestation soil erosion and riverbed degradation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has guaranteed strong enforcement of laws against those who break regulations while simultaneously assigning additional funding to enhance illegal mining operation surveillance.
