Pawan Singh on BJP Ticket: Bhojpuri's power star Pawan Singh, who hails from Ara in Bihar, was very much in the news in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He was given a ticket from Asansol by the BJP, but he withdrew before entering the fray and contested as an independent from Karakat Lok Sabha seat in Bihar. Although Pawan Singh lost, but now for the first time he has made a big disclosure about the BJP ticket. 

Pawan Singh has given a big statement about BJP in an interview given on 'Shubhkar Mishra's' YouTube channel. On the question whether Pawan Singh is disillusioned with BJP or still has a desire for it? Pawan Singh said, "Today for the first time I am telling that my song was made an issue. I was told that Pawan Singh ji is like this. Then I said okay, no problem."

During the interview, on another question that Pawan Singh did not want to contest from Asansol, is this false news? On this Powerstar Pawan Singh said, "If I did not want to contest then why would I agree? There was no pressure? Manoj Bhaiya (Manoj Tiwari) has not sung the song, Goriya Bangal Ke Daga De Gayil?"

Let us tell you that although Pawan Singh lost the election from Karakat, Upendra Kushwaha, who contested from NDA on this seat, also suffered a loss. Neither Pawan Singh nor Upendra Kushwaha won. In such a situation, Rajaram Singh from the third i.e. CPI(ML) won. Rajaram Singh was a candidate from the Mahagathbandhan. 

BJP had lost five seats in Bihar

BJP suffered the most loss in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections . In Bihar, BJP contested on 17 seats while JDU was in the fray on 16 seats. Both parties won 12 seats each. BJP lost five seats. Mithilesh Tiwari lost from Buxar. Sushil Kumar Singh, who was a three-time MP from Aurangabad, lost. RK Singh of Ara Lok Sabha, who was a two-time MP, also faced defeat. Ramkripal Yadav, who was a two-time MP from Pataliputra, also lost. Shivesh Ram was given a ticket from Sasaram but he also lost.
