Kathmandu: In a congratulatory message to his Nepalese counterpart KP Sharma Oli on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised that his government will remain Nepal's steadfast partner in its march towards economic prosperity.
PM Modi said that our comprehensive cooperation will move forward in a positive direction for the benefit of the people of both countries. He said that Nepal remains a special and priority partner under India's Neighbourhood First policy.
PM Modi said, India-Nepal have civilizational and cultural ties for centuries. Not only this, there are also strong people-to-people ties across our open borders. These ties provide energy, enthusiasm and strength to our partnership.
Let us tell you that Oli took oath as the 45th Prime Minister of Nepal on 15 July. This is going to be his fourth term as the Prime Minister of the country nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. His government faces the difficult challenge of providing political stability in the country.
