Patna News: An oxygen cylinder exploded late Friday (January 17) evening in a private hospital located on Bhootnath Road in Patna. This incident happened while unloading the cylinder from the vehicle. The incident is from Agamkuan police station area. A person died on the spot after being hit by the cylinder explosion. One person has been injured in the incident. He has been admitted to Nalanda Medical College Hospital for treatment.

After the incident, there was chaos at the spot. The sound of the cylinder explosion was so loud that the people around were frightened. For some time, it was not understood what had happened. A car parked at the spot was also damaged. On receiving the information, the police of Agamkuan police station reached the spot and started investigating the case.
The deceased and the injured have not yet been identified
Confirming the incident, Agamkuan police station in-charge Santosh Kumar said that both the deceased and the injured are being identified. He said that the long oxygen cylinder supplied in the hospital has burst. The person who was carrying the cylinder after unloading it has died. One person has been injured in the accident. It was told that the deceased person was not a hospital employee but the one who was delivering the cylinder. On the other hand, it is being said about the injured person that he is a relative of a patient. He was standing at the spot. His cylinder is damaged.
It was said that information about both the persons is being gathered. After the incident, the police reached the spot and started scanning the nearby CCTV cameras. It is being told that as soon as the cylinder exploded, there was a commotion around the hospital. People thought that a bomb had exploded. For some time, people could not understand what had happened.
