The farmers gathered at Shambhu border have once again intensified their preparations to march to Delhi. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher held a press conference on Tuesday and announced that the farmers will once again march to Delhi on December 14. In the press conference, the farmer leader said that now we will leave for Delhi on December 14, our protest has completed 303 days and the farmers' hunger strike has also completed 15 days. We have always accepted the talks with an open heart. So far no one from the government has contacted us.

101 batch will go to Delhi

He further said that both the organizations have decided that we will march to Delhi on the 14th with a group of 101 farmers. On Wednesday we will pray for the success of the farmers' movement. We demand the release of those farmers who were arrested or detained during the protest. I request film stars, singers and religious leaders to please publicize our protest by demonstrating.

I had tried to march earlier too

Let us inform you that earlier a group of 101 farmers under the banner of Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha marched towards Delhi on 6 and 8 December, but the police stopped them in Haryana. During this, a situation of confrontation persisted between the farmers and the security forces, after which tear gas shells were fired to push the farmers back. During this, many farmers were injured.

Let us tell you that the farmers have been camping on the Shambhu and Khanauri border between Punjab and Haryana since February 13 to go to Delhi. Earlier, the farmers tried to move towards Delhi on February 13 and 21, but the police and administration stopped them at the border itself.
