According to the Vedic calendar, the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month will begin on October 10 at 12:31 pm. At the same time, Ashtami Tithi will end on October 11 at 12:06 pm. Due to Saptami and Ashtami Tithi falling on the same day, the fast of Mahashtami will be observed on the next day i.e. October 11. Whereas, Mahasaptami will be celebrated on October 10. On this auspicious occasion, Maa Durga will be invoked. Along with this, special worship of Jagat Janani will be done. Thus, Ashtami will be celebrated on October 11.

When is Navami? (Kab hai Navami)

The Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month will start on October 11 at 12:07 pm and will end on October 12 at 10:58 am. According to the date calculation, Navami will be celebrated on October 11. Sandhi Puja will be performed at this time. Mother Siddhidatri will be worshipped on this auspicious occasion. Thus, Navami will be celebrated on October 11 itself.

When is Dussehra? (Kab Hai Dussehra)

In Sanatan Dharma, Dussehra (Dusshera Date 2024) is celebrated on the Dashami date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. This auspicious date will start on October 12 at around 11 am. At the same time, Dashami Tithi will end on October 13 at 09:08 am. Thus, Dussehra will be celebrated on October 12. The auspicious time for the worship of Lord Shri Ram on this day is from 01:17 pm to 03:35 pm. At the same time, Vijay Muhurta is from 02:03 pm to 02:49 pm.
