NIA Raids In J&K: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raided several places in five districts of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with terrorist infiltration and recent attacks on security forces and civilians. Several NIA teams conducted these raids at eight places in Reasi, Udhampur, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts. 

According to the NIA, many important documents and digital evidence have been recovered in these raids, which have revealed the links between terrorists of banned terrorist organizations, overground workers and hybrid terrorists. The NIA said that the people whose hideouts were searched include supporters, cadres and associates of banned terrorist organizations. All of them were involved in infiltrating terrorists into India from across the border, providing them food items, accommodation, money and other necessary things.

Revealing the beat relations of overground workers of terrorist organizations

The NIA registered this case on October 24, 2024. This case is related to the infiltration of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists into India through the international border and the Line of Control. According to the information, over ground workers and other associates active in the villages of Jammu region gave all possible help to these infiltrators. The NIA also said that during the search, such evidence has been found which reveals the connection between new associates and overground workers of banned terrorist organizations. Further investigation is going on in this matter.

Terrorist infiltration had also taken place eight days ago

Terrorist incidents keep happening every day in Jammu and Kashmir. Some terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba infiltrate, while terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed are seen clashing with security forces. A week ago, an encounter continued throughout the day between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. There were chances of three terrorists hiding in this area, due to which additional forces were called by the security forces. Before this, encounters have also taken place between terrorists and security forces in Bandipora, Kupwara and Sopore in North Kashmir.
