Muslim leader in BJP: For expressing displeasure over the recent statements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Rajasthan, the BJP has expelled one of its Muslim leaders from the party. Usman Ghani was the district president of Bikaner BJP Minority Morcha and efforts were made to expel him from the party on the charges of tarnishing the image of the party.

Speaking to the media in Delhi, Ghani had said that the party would lose 3-4 out of 25 seats in the state. He also criticized Prime Minister Modi's remarks against Muslims during election rallies in the state.

Said- Muslims demand answers from me

Ghani was in Delhi recently. When the journalist asked him about Modi's statement regarding Muslims, Ghani said that being a Muslim, he was disappointed by Modi's statement. She said that when she goes to Muslims to seek votes for BJP, people of the community talk about such comments of the Prime Minister and seek answers from her.

There was no fear of party action

Ghani also said that the Jats in the state are angry with the BJP and they have voted against the BJP in Churu and other seats. Ghani also said that he is not afraid if the party takes any action against him for what he is saying.

The leader said – tarnished the image of the party

After this video of Gani surfaced on social media, the BJP State Disciplinary Committee took action against him. Committee Chairman Omkar Singh Lakhawate had said that an attempt was made by Usman Ghani, District President of Bikaner City BJP Minority Morcha, to tarnish the image of the BJP on electronic media. Taking note of this, the party has expelled Usman Ghani from BJP for six years considering this act as indisciplined.

The first phase of voting for Bikaner Lok Sabha seat was held on 19 April. Let us tell you that in his recent election rallies in the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had quoted the Congress's stance and claimed that if the Congress came to power, it would distribute the people's wealth among the Muslims. He had alleged that the Congress planned to give away people's hard-earned money and valuables to 'bribery' and 'children of brides'.
