Dharm Paji, who has made his mark as the He-Man of Bollywood, becomes a topic of discussion every day regarding his family. But today in this article we are going to tell you about a cousin brother of Dharmendra, who was murdered in public. That actor was considered a superstar of cinema like his elder brother Dharmendra.

Who was Dharmendra's younger brother?

Dharmendra studied matriculation at his aunt's house in Phagwara, Punjab. Dharmendra's aunt's son and younger brother Virendra also lived with him. His real name was Subhash Dhadwala. Apart from being Dharmendra's cousin, Virendra was recognized as a superstar. Following in his elder brother's footsteps, Virendra also entered the film world and became a superstar of the Punjabi film industry.

Apart from being an actor, he was also a great director. The news of his success was making waves all over Punjab. Due to this, his enemies also increased and in 1988, on the sets of the film Jatt Te Zameen, some terrorists shot him dead in broad daylight. Thus, at the age of 40, the shining star of the Punjabi film industry perished forever.

100 percent success record

Virendra made his debut in the world of acting in 1973 with the film Insaan Aur Insaan. Two years later, he appeared in the Punjabi film Teri Meri Ek Jindri with his brother Dharmendra and this movie made him a superstar overnight. In a career spanning 12 years, he worked as an actor and director in about 25 films.

The amazing thing is that all his films were superhits and on this basis his success rate was close to 100 percent.
