The film was released in theaters on 5 April and the movie did good business at the box office. The film is going to have its OTT premiere two months after its theatrical release. 

Where and when is Monkey Man streaming?

' Monkey Man ' starring Indian stars is going to hit the OTT platform after a long wait. The film will stream on the OTT platform Peacock TV on June 14. According to Variety, the film will be released in India on the digital streaming platform in 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray from June 11. It will be available in DVD version on June 25. 

Why was Monkey Man not released in India?

' Monkey Man ' was released worldwide on 5 April. The film was supposed to release in India on 19 April, but before it hit the theatres, there was a controversy over it and the movie was postponed. CBFC did not give the green signal to this film because the movie had excessive violence, intimate scenes, and references to Hindu religion and mythology. Due to this, the movie did not get a release.
