Aurangabad News: A bus conductor was killed near Kusha turn in Madanpur police station area in Aurangabad on Sunday morning. Ten to fifteen villagers of Kusha village beat him to death. The deceased conductor has been identified as Manjay Singh, a resident of Sadail village in Madanpur police station area.

Demand for arrest and severe punishment of the killers

After the incident, the villagers of Sadail village blocked National Highway 19 in front of their village demanding the arrest and severe punishment of the murderers and protested fiercely by burning tyres. Due to the jam, the national highway remained completely blocked for four hours. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police team reached the spot but they too had to face anger.

According to the information, Manjay Singh used to work as a conductor in a bus going from Aurangabad to Dhanbad. It is said that on Friday when he was driving the bus, some children stopped the bus near Kusha village, but Manjay Singh did not stop the bus. Angry villagers stopped the bus on Sunday morning when the bus left for Dhanbad from Aurangabad and around ten to fifteen villagers stopped the bus and made him get off. After this, they beat him up badly due to which the conductor died.

By the time people from their village Sadail reached, all the people who were beating him had fled. The villagers thought the conductor was alive and brought him to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead. In this regard, SDPO Sadar 2 Amit Kumar said that a bus conductor died during the beating and the road has been blocked by the villagers, who are being tried to be convinced.

Further action will be taken on the basis of the application

The SDPO said that further action will be taken on the basis of the application received through the family of the deceased Manjay Singh. At present, the people involved in the incident are absconding and the police team is engaged in their search. It is worth noting that this is the second incident of mob lynching in Aurangabad within three days. Earlier on Thursday, Prince Kumar was also killed by 40 people of Bel village of Obra by beating him with sticks.
