After the film Sam Bahadur released last year, she has not yet announced her next project. Meghna says, I spent seven years on Sam Bahadur. I have to bring freshness and energy inside me again, only after that will the next project be announced.

Family is meaningful for Meghna

What does Meghna do to bring new energy and freshness within herself? On this she says, "I completely return to my family, home and children. They are my base. Just like in electric wiring, there is a wire for earthing, which takes the excess current inside the ground, similarly family is my earthing. It keeps me connected to the ground."
