UPPSC Candidates Protest: A massive protest of competitive candidates has started against the normalization in UP Public Service Commission's PCS Pre 2024 and RO/ARO Preliminary Examination 2023. Thousands of candidates gathered at the Public Service Commission intersection and raised slogans. Competitive students are continuously raising slogans with posters and banners in their hands. Angry students even broke the police barricades, after which they clashed with the police.
Competitive students are protesting against the process of normalization. Their demand is that the examinations of PCS Pre 2024 and RO and ARO Pre 2023 should be conducted in one shift in one day. Competitive students had announced a peaceful protest in Gandhian way at the Public Service Commission two days ago. They said that this protest is indefinite. The protest will continue until they get an assurance from the commission to conduct the examination in one day and one shift.
A large number of police force
has been deployed in front of the UP Public Service Commission office since morning in view of the protest by the candidates. Police force has been deployed by putting up barricades all around the commission. Vajra vehicle, fire brigade and RAF have also been deployed on the spot. At the same time, tremendous anger is also being seen among the students. Students are continuously becoming violent. In such a situation, the police administration has also made full preparations to handle the situation. Clashes are being seen from both sides.
Seeing the students' protest, ADCP City Abhishek Bharti is also present on the spot. He has appealed to the students to go to the designated place for the protest and protest and submit their memorandum. But, the students do not seem to be ready to agree. Traffic has also been affected due to the students' protest. Traffic has started getting jammed on the roads.
