After initially resigning from the post of Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara due to protests, Mamta Kulkarni has now returned and reassumed her position. In a video statement released on Thursday, she confirmed her decision to continue serving Kinnar Akhara and promoting Sanatan Dharma.

Why Did Mamta Kulkarni Return?

  • Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, the head of Kinnar Akhara, did not accept her resignation.
  • Following this, Mamta Kulkarni decided to stay and continue her responsibilities as Mahamandaleshwar.

Mamta Kulkarni’s Statement on Her Return

In her video message, Mamta Kulkarni expressed gratitude and reaffirmed her dedication to Kinnar Akhara and Sanatan Dharma.

"I am Shri Yamai Mamta Nand Giri. Two days ago, some people made false allegations against my Patta Guru, Dr. Acharya Shri Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. In response, I had resigned from my post. However, he rejected my resignation."

"The Guru gift that I had presented to Dr. Acharya Shri Laxmi Narayan Tripathi—my umbrella, stick, and chhavar—was all dedicated to the bhandara. I am grateful to him for reinstating me, and from now on, I will dedicate my life to Kinnar Akhara and Sanatan Dharma."
