Mahoba News: Due to the negligence of the staff at Mahoba District Hospital, the life of a female patient was in danger. After treating the female patient in the emergency who had consumed poisonous substance, she was admitted to the TB ward and not only this, she was also given four injections after treating her TB. Her condition deteriorated due to being admitted in the TB ward for 24 hours. Currently, the in-charge CMS is talking about taking action after getting the matter investigated.

In fact, on Thursday night, in Teiya village of Panwadi block, 60-year-old woman Dhakki consumed poisonous substance due to domestic dispute. She was brought to the district hospital from Community Health Center Panwadi by her family members. The woman was treated in the emergency ward of the district hospital and then she was shifted to the ward. Due to the negligence of the hospital staff, the woman was shifted to the TB ward. The family members allege that after admitting the patient to the TB ward, 4 injections were given for treatment due to which her condition deteriorated. 

 

What did the victim's family say?


The family said that she was given good treatment in the emergency and then shifted to the TB ward. The family has also alleged that due to the negligence of the staff, after treating her for TB, she was put on a bottle and given four injections. Due to which her health deteriorated further and she started vomiting. The woman's sister Kiran Devi says that last Thursday her sister tried to commit suicide by drinking acid. She was brought to the district hospital late at night for treatment. But she was admitted to the TB ward and treated.

Her condition deteriorated due to being admitted in the TB ward for 24 hours and treatment. Today when Kiran came to inquire about her sister's health, she was shocked to see her admitted in the TB ward. Then the hospital staff came to the spot and inquired and found out that due to negligence the woman was being treated after being admitted in the TB ward. Quickly realizing their mistake, the female patient was immediately admitted to the ICU ward, where she is being treated.


 

What did CMS Dr Narendra Rajput say?


CMS Dr Narendra Rajput, in-charge of the district hospital, said that a woman was admitted to the emergency ward at night. She was treated and shifted to the ward after her condition improved. She was mistakenly shifted to the TB ward. The doctor who went on rounds saw her and shifted her to the ICU ward. In this case, the staff's mistake has come to light. Action will be taken after investigating it.
