Mahakumbh: The security of crores of devotees coming to Mahakumbh 2025 is a priority for the Yogi government. Security arrangements are being made everywhere on land, water and sky. In this sequence, for the first time, the water police is being equipped with jet skis, also known as small ships, to prevent any kind of untoward incident during bathing.
The role of the water police is going to be more important this time than ever before. For the first time, small ships are being launched in the Maha Kumbh to ensure that no untoward incident takes place during the bathing of the pilgrims and saints coming here from all over the world. These high-tech jet skis will be able to reach anywhere in the blink of an eye.
Officers engaged in finalizing the preparations
On the instructions of the Yogi government, selected officers of Uttar Pradesh are engaged in finalizing the preparations for the Maha Kumbh. Under this, the security arrangements of the water police are being made more tight. Janardan Prasad Sahni, in-charge of the water police of Prayagraj's Kila police station, told ABP News during a special conversation that for the first time in the Maha Kumbh, high-tech jet skis are being launched for the safety of the devotees.
Demand has been made for 25 high-tech jet skis, which will join the fleet of the water police by December. These small ships joining the fleet of the water police for the first time will be able to reach the rescue of bathers at any distance within minutes. The most important thing is that its speed will be 70 kilometers per hour. This high-tech jet ski will be able to reach the needy immediately on getting the signal.
A powerful engine is installed in the Jet Ski which has proven to be safe
. It pulls water in and simultaneously throws it out from the rear end. It will prove to be very useful as per the requirement in Maha Kumbh. Three people can travel in it at a time. In case of emergency, one of its drivers will be able to reach the spot quickly and save at least two people. Its speed of 70 kilometers per hour will prove to be the biggest help for the water police.
