Just like we feed milk to a small child before putting him to sleep, similarly milk should be offered to Laddu Gopal before putting him to sleep. Milk should be offered after some time of offering food. After this, Laddu Gopal can be put to sleep.

If it is winter time, then before putting Laddu Gopal to sleep, a small cloth should be spread on his bed and he should be covered with warm clothes. You can also keep a small pillow. If you want, you can prepare these things at home or you can also buy them from the market.

Apart from night, you can put Laddu Gopal to sleep during the day as well. Because even a small child is put to sleep during the day. Whenever you put Laddu Gopal to sleep, make sure to put a curtain. Along with this, you must ring a bell or clap before waking him up.
