Kumbh 2025 Prayagraj: The Yogi government of UP is making special preparations for the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held after a few months in the Sangam city of Prayagraj. On one hand, preparations are being made to organize the Maha Kumbh in a divine, grand and new form, on the other hand, many steps are also being taken to ensure the safety of the devotees in this world's largest spiritual fair.

For the security of Kumbh, surveillance will be done from the sky to the deep waters of Ganga and Yamuna. This will be the first time when Anaconda boat and water scooter brigade will be used along with underwater drones and sonar radio waves. The budget has been approved for the purchase of underwater safety equipment.

Under water safety arrangements
PAC jawans will have the major responsibility of security surveillance and relief and rescue inside the deep waters of the rivers. According to UP's Eastern Zone PAC DIG Dr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra, for the first time in this year's Maha Kumbh, many steps are being taken for underwater safety. This will be the first time when surveillance will be done through underwater drones and also in the deep waters of Yamuna.

Underwater drones will prove to be very helpful in case of any suspicious activity or accident in water. Along with this, in case of any accident, sonar radio waves will also be used to find out the exact position of the person and goods under water. Anaconda boat will also be operated.

Water scooter brigade will also be deployed.
According to Dr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra, in case of any emergency in the deep waters of the rivers, water scooter brigade will also be present for quick reaction. This scooter will speed in the water and reach the required place in no time. Currently, there is a plan to run 25 water scooters in Maha Kumbh. Due to the large number, their drivers have been given the name of brigade.

Apart from this, two floating rescue stations will also be built in this year's Maha Kumbh. These will be built at Sangam and VIP Ghat. The floating jetty will have first aid along with all the necessary equipment to deal with accidents. Separate boats and Anaconda boats will also be made available to the PAC. The tender process for the purchase of all these equipment will start from October 1.

Regarding this, Kumbh Mela officer Vijay Kiran Anand says that the safety of the devotees coming to the fair of faith is the first priority. Due to the expansion of the number of ghats in the fair, now eight kilometer long deep water barricading will be built in the rivers. High-tech arrangements will be made for security. This will be the first time when AI Artificial Intelligence will also be used.
