Tirupati Temple Prasadam: It has come to light that animal fat and fish oil are used in the laddus offered as prasad in Tirupati Balaji temple of Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the prasad was adulterated in the previous government. This has also sparked a political uproar. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has also reacted to this entire controversy,
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said on the Prasadam controversy in Tirupati temple that I myself am a devotee of Lord Tirupati Balaji, Lord Ramlala. If there is any such complaint in any pilgrimage place, then the governments there will take necessary steps. He said that our government will also take care of this in Uttar Pradesh.
Keshav Prasad Maurya said this on adulteration in Prasadam
, if someone has done this then it is very wrong, legal action should be taken against them. Tirupati Balaji is a world famous temple. Crores of devotees from the country and abroad come here for darshan every year. In such a situation, there has been an uproar after the matter of adulteration in the Prasadam of this temple came to light. Many saints and Hindu organizations have lodged strong objection to this.
Let us tell you that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had alleged that in the previous government, animal fat was mixed in the ghee used to make Laddu Prasadi. Allegations and counter-allegations have started between Naidu's TDP and opposition YSRCP regarding this matter. YSRCP alleged that heinous allegations are being made for political gains. Whereas TDP is making allegations on the basis of lab reports.
BJP has targeted this whole issue. BJP alleged that the previous government had appointed non-Hindus in the Tirupati Temple Board, due to which the sacred traditions of the temple have been compromised.
