On Wednesday (September 11), the first snowfall occurred on the hills of Kedarnath Dham after heavy rains. After which the cold increased in the entire area. In view of the weather, the devotees were stopped for about two and a half hours. Also, on Wednesday, a total of four and a half thousand passengers were allowed to go to Kedarnath.
Four and a half thousand pilgrims left for Kedarnath Yatra
After heavy rains on the hills of Kedarnath Dham, the first snowfall occurred on Wednesday (11 September). Due to snowfall, the high peaks were covered with white snow. The pilgrims were sent ahead only after the weather improved. Sonprayag Kotwali Inspector Devendra Aswal said that the movement of pilgrims is being arranged keeping in mind the safety of the pilgrims. On Wednesday, more than 4500 pilgrims were sent to Kedarnath.
