The day of Kamada Ekadashi is considered very fruitful. This fast is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On this day people keep fast for Lord Vishnu and worship him. Ekadashi comes twice a month in Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. According to the Hindu calendar, this year Kamada Ekadashi will be celebrated on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month i.e. 8 April.
