UP News: In Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, a father has been arrested for selling his 13-year-old daughter to a human trafficking gang for Rs 60,000. The police rescued the minor girl from the clutches of these people and arrested three people including the girl's father and a broker.

The police received information from an informer that preparations were being made to sell a minor girl for 60 thousand rupees. Taking immediate action on this, the police raided the village, where the case turned out to be of human trafficking. According to the police, the accused father was trying to sell his own 13-year-old daughter for sixty thousand rupees. A broker and an associate were also involved with him in this evil practice. The police reached the spot and caught the accused and secured the girl. 

Police recovered the minor girl

Sambhal Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that the police became active after receiving the information. He said that we had information that some people had come to Baniyathar area from Moradabad and were roaming here to sell a girl child for 60 thousand rupees. The police acted promptly and arrested three people, from whom the minor girl was recovered.

Broker Kaushal Sharma arrested

Police said that after intensive interrogation it was found that the girl's father Raju son Ishulal resident of Mohalla Ramtalaiya police station Majhola, Moradabad had come to sell his daughter. Along with him Bablu son Lallu and Kaushal Sharma who are brokers have also been arrested. The father of the 13-year-old minor girl wanted to sell his daughter for 60 thousand rupees which is a moral crime. The girl's father is a resident of Moradabad. This is a case of human trafficking. All the accused have been arrested and sent to jail and further legal action is being taken in the case.
