News Topical, Digital Desk : The 71st National Film Awards were announced on Friday at the National Media Center in New Delhi. These awards were given to films released in 2023. Famous films like Pathan, Animal, 12th Fail, OMG 2, Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani, The Kerala Story were released in 2023. At the same time, Telugu cinema includes films like Sita Ramam, Month of Madhu, Balagam, Dussehra. In Tamil cinema, films like Jailer and Leo proved to be big blockbusters. Malayalam films like Nanapakal Nerathu Mayakkam, 2018 Everyone is a Hero, Iratta, Kaithal - The Core, Adrishya Jalakangal were also released in 2023.
This time the most special name in the National Awards was Bollywood's Baadshah Shahrukh Khan, because this is the first National Award of his career. National Film Awards were first given in 1954. At that time, these awards were given only to films in different languages. These awards for technicians and actors working in films started in the year 1967. Nargis was the first actress to receive the Best Actress award that year. She was given this award for the film Raat Aur Din. Uttam Kumar won the Best Actor award for Antony Firingee and Chidiyakhana in the same year.
