Jerusalem: Israel may recapture the southern part of Lebanon. In 2000, Israel had to leave its 18-year occupation there due to the strengthening of Hezbollah. Indicating the future plan on Lebanon, Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Galant has said that all necessary steps will be taken to prevent Hezbollah from recapturing the area.

Hezbollah under the cover of population

Galant visited the Israel-Lebanon border areas on Monday. Looking at the Lebanese territory from a military checkpoint, he said, "The entire border area adjoining Israel was occupied by Hezbollah and from there its fighters used to launch rocket attacks on the northern and central part of Israel. They had set up hideouts among the population in many villages along the border. Many of these hideouts are still active."

Israel is attacking through tunnels

Galant said that Hezbollah had connected this entire area with underground tunnels. Weapons were stored inside the houses. These facts have come to light during the operation of the Israeli army, weapons have been recovered and tunnels have been destroyed. Hezbollah fighters are still present in the tunnels built in some areas and they are attacking the Israeli army and Israel.

Hezbollah will not flourish

The Israeli Defense Minister said that the army has been instructed to completely destroy Hezbollah's infrastructure. This is what the Israeli army is doing in Lebanon. We will not leave anything to prevent Hezbollah from rising again in Lebanon and attacking Israel. The Israeli army's action is proceeding in a powerful and effective manner. So far, hundreds of Hezbollah hideouts have been destroyed in South Lebanon.

Will attack Hezbollah all over Lebanon

Hezbollah carried out a major drone attack on Israel's military base on Sunday night. Four soldiers were killed in this. On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the military base. During this, he warned Hezbollah. Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel will attack Hezbollah in entire Lebanon including Beirut.
