Indira Ekadashi Vrat is considered very auspicious. This year it will be celebrated on 28th September. On this day people worship Lord Vishnu. - Do not consume grains on Ekadashi . Instead, you can eat fruits, milk and satvik food.
- Avoid consumption of alcohol and non-vegetarian food on this date.
- Avoid overeating on this day, even if it is Satvik food.
- Maintain moderation in your consumption.
- Avoid breaking the fast during inauspicious time i.e. Hari Vasara and midday.
- Avoid arguments on this day.
- Don't consume rice on this day even by mistake.
When is Indira Ekadashi? (Indira Ekadashi 2024 Shubh Muhurat)
According to the Hindu calendar, the Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start on Saturday, September 27 at 01:20 pm. At the same time, it will end on Sunday, September 28 at 02:49 pm. Looking at the calendar, Indira Ekadashi fast will be observed on September 28.
Along with this, the fast can be broken on September 29 between 06:13 am to 08:36 am.
