MP Thunderstorm Alert: In the month of March itself, people of Madhya Pradesh started getting troubled by the strong sunlight like May, but now the Meteorological Department has given a relief news to the people of MP. IMD has predicted a big change in the weather of MP. Due to Western Disturbance, there may be rain in many cities including Sagar and Jabalpur. 

For information, let us tell you that after Holi festival, a significant drop in the temperature of Madhya Pradesh was observed. Now the rainy season is also likely to start. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in many districts.

Possibility of strong wind and hailstorm in MP
IMD wrote on its official X account, "Thunderstorms with lightning, strong winds (40-60 kmph) and hailstorms are likely over Gangetic East Madhya Pradesh from afternoon to night time of March 20." Apart from this, IMD has also issued an alert in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. 

It is worth noting that dry weather continued in many areas of Madhya Pradesh. In the last two days, the temperature has dropped by one to two degrees. The minimum temperature recorded in Gwalior was 15.6 degrees, which was the lowest. Jabalpur recorded 17 degrees, Ujjain 17.3 degrees, Bhopal 17.5 degrees and Indore recorded 20.4 degrees.

How will be the weather of MP on 21 and 22 March?
The Meteorological Department has said that on March 21, rain with thunder and lightning is expected in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Bhind, Datia, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Raisen, Sehore, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Balaghat, Seoni, Mandla, Anuppur, Shahdol, Katni, Panna, Satna, Rewa etc.
