Sonbhadra Rape: An incident that shames humanity has come to light in UP's Sonbhadra. Here a 45-year-old neighbour raped a 14-year-old mute and mentally challenged teenager. After the victim became five months pregnant, she complained of stomach pain, after which the family took her to the hospital. Meanwhile, the victim gave birth to a dead child in the auto itself. Her condition remains critical. 

The family also came to know about the rape incident only after five months. This case is from Robertsganj Kotwali area where the accused named Bhagwat, who lives in the village, committed this heinous crime with a 14-year-old deaf and dumb girl from the neighborhood. The accused made her a victim of lust several times. After which she became pregnant. 

The family came to know about the abortion that took place outside the hospital
when she complained of stomach pain, after which the family got an ultrasound done on the advice of the doctors. After this incident, the whole family was devastated. The family said that when the victim complained on Monday, they took her to the district hospital but the doctors refused to admit her immediately, calling it a police case. 

The family members sat with the victim near the gate outside the hospital for two hours. Meanwhile, she gave birth to a dead child in the auto itself. On getting information about the case, the police reached, after which the victim was admitted to the hospital. Her condition is said to be very bad. Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Kalu Singh has registered a case against the accused Bhagwat in this case. The police is searching for the accused.
