Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned former Prime Minister Imran Khan to face consequences for the violence that took place on May 9 last year.
Bilawal said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) does not apologize for the May 9 violence, then the party founder Imran will have to face serious consequences.
No permission to carry out terrorist activities- Bilawal
In the National Assembly, Bilawal said that no one is allowed to carry out terrorist activities. It is noteworthy that on May 8, a day before the completion of one year of violent protests, Imran had told journalists in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi that he would not apologize for the violence.
PTI has nothing to do with the violence- Imran
Khan said his party had nothing to do with the violence. After Imran's arrest on May 9 last year, PTI supporters had carried out large-scale violence and vandalism.
