UP Police News: Uttar Pradesh Police has issued an important advisory in view of the festive season in Uttar Pradesh. Orders have been issued in view of the upcoming festivals Durga Puja Mahanavami Dussehra. The order states that planned police arrangements should be made for the immersion of Durga idols. Police arrangements should be made in box format to maintain security in the procession.

During Mahanavami, in view of the huge crowd of women and girls in temples, police personnel should be deployed at various places. Anti-Romeo Squad should be activated around temples and magistrates or police officers should be deployed at the immersion site.

In the order, instructions have been given to ensure the arrangements of local divers, water police, flood relief PAC along with barricading on the ghats at the time of idol immersion. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to make proper arrangements for lighting on the ghats.

In the order issued by the police headquarters, instructions have been given to make fire fighting arrangements at the Ravana Dahan sites. Apart from this, it has also been advised to talk to the committees at the Ramleela venue. Instructions have also been issued to improve security arrangements at crowded places like railway station, bus station, market, shopping mall. It has been said that no procession should be taken out from any new route. Know the current conditions of the venues where there has been a dispute.

The police has given instructions to take action against those who post misleading and objectionable posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and WhatsApp. The order issued from the headquarters says that discussions should be held with religious leaders and their suggestions should be implemented. Instructions have also been given to keep the local intelligence unit on alert.
