However, a few days ago a big controversy arose regarding this 'Mahakal Chalo' song and the priest association objected to one of Akshay's scenes. On which recently Akshay Kumar presented his clarification and told why he did so.
Why did the controversy arise over 'Mahakal Chalo'?
In fact, while talking to News 18, Mahesh Sharma, President of the Priest Association, expressed his displeasure over the scene of the song 'Mahakal Chalo' in which Akshay Kumar is holding a Shivling. Now Akshay Kumar himself has given his clarification on the controversy over the song dedicated to Mahakaal. During the promotion of his upcoming Telugu film 'Kannapa', he said in a press conference, "Since childhood, my parents have taught me that God is our parent. If you hug your parents, what is wrong in that? Is there anything wrong in that?" Khiladi Kumar did not stop here, he further said, "I don't think there is anything wrong in this. If my power comes from there and someone misunderstands my devotion, then it is not my fault". Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of Lord Shiva in his upcoming film 'Kannappa'. The film will hit the theatres in April.
