US President-elect Donald Trump has warned Hamas that if the hostages are not released before his swearing-in, he will open the doors of hell in the Middle East.

In fact, Hamas took more than 100 people hostage on 7 October 2023, including American citizens. However, officials believe that many of these hostages have died.

Trump will take oath on January 20

Donald Trump was speaking to reporters at his Florida residence Mar-a-Lago. He will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. During this, he said this in response to a question about the ongoing talks with Hamas for the release of American citizens.

His special envoy to the Middle East, Charles Witkoff, has recently returned from there. He told reporters that the talks are in the final stages. He said, 'It is in its final stage. I do not want to discuss why it was delayed. There is no point in going into negativity.'

Talks are going on in Qatar

  • Let us tell you that talks are going on between Hamas and Israel in Qatar. Hamas has revealed the names of 34 people held hostage in Gaza, including two American citizens. Hamas is ready to release the hostages in exchange for a ceasefire.
  • In response to a question, Donald Trump has warned Hamas to release the hostages before January 20. He said, 'This will not be right for Hamas. This will not be right for anyone. There will be havoc. I do not want to say anything else.'
  • The Biden administration has been trying unsuccessfully to broker a ceasefire in Gaza for more than a year. The first truce, signed a few weeks after the October 7 attack, saw the release of dozens of hostages, but subsequent ones did little to stop the fighting or secure the release of other hostages.
