New Delhi. Self-proclaimed godman's lawyer AP Singh on Sunday made a serious allegation of conspiracy in the stampede case that led to the death of 121 people after Surajpal Singh's (Narayan Sakar Vishwa Hari) satsang in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. He claimed, citing eyewitnesses, that during the satsang some people opened cans filled with poisonous spray in the crowd, which led to the stampede.
Bhole Baba's lawyer alleged conspiracy
Addressing a press conference in Delhi, AP Singh alleged a conspiracy behind the stampede. He said that it was carried out by those who were jealous of the growing popularity of Bhole Baba (Surajpal). "Witnesses contacted me and said that 15-16 people had come with poisonous spray cans, which they opened in the crowd. I have seen the post-mortem reports of those killed and it shows that they died not due to injuries but due to suffocation," AP Singh claimed.
Alleging a conspiracy behind the stampede, he said vehicles were parked at the spot to help people escape. We have evidence and will present it. AP Singh claimed that the witnesses who contacted him have requested not to be named. We will demand security for them.
Full trust in the government and the law
He said that Baba has full faith in the law. We believe in the law. From the servants to the people who died, everyone is Baba's. But we have to find out who the killers are. People who believe in Sanatan go to their religious gurus only. We have full faith in the government, law and media. We also appeal to the media for cooperation.
