Central Government Employees Retirement Age: Will government employees retire before time? Is the Government of India going to reduce the maximum age limit for remaining in government service? Is retirement of the employee being considered on the basis of his efficiency and ability or output? Will the employees be asked to pack up after 30 years of service? A question has been asked to the government regarding this in the Parliament. People also say that smoke rises only when there is a spark somewhere.
The central government made its stand clear
The Government of India has now clarified on the floor of the Parliament that there is neither smoke nor spark anywhere. There is a fear of smoke, which is unnecessarily sitting in the minds of the employees, their families or the common people. The Government of India is not going to take any such decision regarding the employees. There is not even any such proposal which is under consideration.
Tejasvi Surya asked, what is the matter
BJP MP Tejasvi Surya asked the government what is the government going to do for employment of people born after the year 2000? Is there a plan to change the retirement age of government employees to 30 years of service or 60 years of age, whichever is earlier? The central government clearly denied any such proposal. In the answer given by the government in the Lok Sabha, it was clearly stated that instead of giving jobs to the youth by reducing the retirement age of employees, the government is trying to provide jobs to the youth through initiatives like employment fairs. The government has completely rejected any such speculation.
