There is a special mention of Govardhan Puja in Sanatan scriptures. Every year Govardhan Puja is celebrated on the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. Bhai Dooj falls a day after this. On the day of Govardhan Puja, there is a ritual of worshiping Lord Krishna and Govardhan mountain, the savior of the world. Also, favorite bhog (Lord Krishna Bhog) is offered to them. Religious opinion is that by offering favorite bhog, the devotee gets success in all the works. Also, happiness comes in life. Govardhan Puja 2024 Date and Time
According to the Panchang, the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month (Govardhan Puja Date 2024) will start on November 01 at 06:16 pm. At the same time, it will end on November 02 at 08:21 pm. In such a situation, the festival of Govardhan Puja will be celebrated on November 02 (Govardhan Puja Date 2024).

- If you want to receive the blessings of Lord Krishna on the day of Govardhan Puja, then definitely include Makhan Mishri in the Puja Thali. There is a religious belief that offering Makhan Mishri brings happiness in the life of a person.

Bhoga Mantra (Bhog Mantra)
Chant the following mantra while offering food to Lord Krishna on the day of Govardhan Puja. Without chanting this mantra, Lord Krishna does not accept the offering.
