According to the legend, once Lord Ganesha went out for a stroll at night riding a mouse. During this, the mouse king collided with something, due to which Ganesh ji fell. Seeing this incident, the moon started laughing at Ganesh ji. Then Shri Ganesha got angry and cursed the moon that whoever sees you on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month, will be falsely accused or some stigma will be put on him. Due to this curse, Shri Krishna also had to face false accusations. Let's know the story related to this.
Sun God gave me a gem
A person named Satrajit Yadav lived in Lord Shri Krishna's city Dwarka. He worshipped Surya Narayan, due to which the Sun God was pleased and gave him the Syamantaka Mani, which gave eight weights of gold daily. When Lord Krishna came to know about this, he incidentally said that give this Mani to me. But Satrajit did not give that Mani to Lord Krishna but gave it to his brother. Then his brother went hunting, where a lion killed him and took the Mani from him.
False rumours spread in the city
There, the king of bears, Jamwant Ji, killed the lion and got the gem from him. When Satrajit's brother did not return from hunting for many days, he started thinking that Lord Krishna had killed his brother to get the gem. Slowly this rumour spread in the whole city. Then Lord Krishna went to the forest to find his brother, where he came to know that the gem was with Jamwant Ji. When Lord Krishna reached Jamwant's cave, he saw that his daughter was playing with the gem.
The war between Lord Krishna and Jamvant
To get the Mani, a war took place between Lord Krishna and Jamwant Ji which continued for about 21 days. When Jamwant could not defeat Lord Krishna, he realized that Shri Krishna is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Then Jamwant got his daughter married to Lord Krishna and returned the Mani to him. When Lord Krishna returned to his city with the Mani, the false accusation of theft was removed from him.
