Fortis Healthcare Limited has released the results for the second quarter ended 30 September 2024. The company has said that in the second quarter of FY 2025, the company's profit has increased by 1.6 percent year-on-year to Rs 176.5 crore. A year ago in this quarter, the company's profit was Rs 174 crore. The company's income has increased from Rs 1770 crore to Rs 1988 crore year-on-year.
The company's EBITDA grew 31.7 per cent from Rs 330.2 crore in the second quarter of FY24 to Rs 435 crore in the second quarter of this financial year. The EBITDA margin stood at 21.9 per cent in the quarter ended September as against 18.7 per cent in the same period last fiscal.
Hospital Business Fortis Healthcare reported a 13.9 per cent rise in September quarter revenue for its hospital business, rising to Rs 1,654.7 crore from Rs 1,452.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Operating margins in the hospital segment also improved to 21.4 per cent in the quarter as against 18.4 per cent in the same period last year. Stock Performance The company's stock closed 0.33 per cent lower at Rs 621.05 on Friday. The company's stock has seen a growth of 82.53 per cent in the last one year. The 52 week high of the stock is Rs 643.90.
