Meerut. BJP candidate Dr. Sanjeev Balyan, who faced defeat in the Lok Sabha elections from Muzaffarnagar seat, made serious allegations against former BJP MLA from Sardhana, Sangeet Som, in a press conference on Monday.

On Tuesday, former MLA Sangeet Som responded to the allegations by holding a press conference at his residence in Meerut Cantt. The former MLA said that the Bharatiya Janata Party won from Sardhana assembly constituency, but Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan lost in Budhana and Charthaval.

Former MLA Sangeet Som said that before making allegations, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan should review his defeat as to why he got less votes in his area. He said that Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan is a senior BJP worker, he should avoid making such statements.

Cases were filed against him during SP rule

The former MLA said that during the SP regime, many cases were filed against him and he was also sent to jail, so how can he support the SP. Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan should present his views on the party forum.

He also talked about collecting illegal property

During the press conference, the former MLA issued a press note in which he accused Muzaffarnagar MP Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan of corruption and also talked about accumulating illegal wealth. In the press note, the former MLA has presented 20 points and made many allegations. Along with this, the reasons for the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections have also been listed through this press note.
