Kanpur Dehat News: Fed up with the bullies in Kanpur Dehat, a husband and wife committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. Before dying, the couple made a video together in which they clarified the reason for their death and also told the names of those due to whom they took this step. On receiving the information of the incident, GRP reached the spot, took both the bodies in its custody and sent them for post-mortem. Also, investigation of this case started.

The deceased Som Shukla and Shweta Shukla mentioned their troubles in the video made before they were killed. They have accused Mohit Dubey, Rohit Dubey, Kapil Dubey, Pravesh Dubey and Ansh Dubey of their own village of harassing them. Som and Shweta's family were so troubled by the harassment of the Dubey family that both of them jumped in front of a train and embraced death.

What did the family of the deceased say?
The family of the deceased said that the people of the Dubey family of the village used to harass them everyday. They used to be stopped while coming and going. They used to be harassed even at the place where their son used to go to work. They used to be threatened with death everyday. The family members had thought of complaining about this matter to the police but before that both of them committed suicide.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Kanpur Dehat Rajesh Pandey said that the information about the death of Som Shukla and Shweta Shukla of Pindarthu village, residents of Sikandra police station, was given to the regional police by GRP and railway. The information of death was given to the family members. The family members informed that a video was forwarded to them from the mobile of their son and daughter-in-law in which the cause of death and the reasons for the death are being mentioned. Now the police is investigating the case on the basis of that video.
