Survey is being conducted in Sambhal for the second consecutive day today. On Saturday also, the ASI team has reached Kalki Vishnu temple of Sambhal. Now the ASI team is doing the survey work here. Administration officials are also present with the ASI team.
5 ft high wall around the well
Today the survey work is to be done in Krishna Koop, which is near the main gate of Kalki temple. It is being told that this Krishna Koop is just 500 meters away from Jama Masjid of Sambhal. Krishna Koop is surrounded by walls on all sides. There is a 5 feet high wall built around it. Along with this, bushes and dirt are spread inside the well.
CM Yogi came in the year 2021
Let us tell you that on Friday, the ASI team surveyed 5 pilgrimages and 19 wells, i.e. a total of 24 places. Today Krishna Koop will be surveyed. This well is near Kalki temple in Sambhal. Which is very ancient. There is a board installed at the gate of the temple. The name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also written on it. It is being told that CM Yogi came here in the year 2021. Now the survey work of the wells and pilgrimages here is being done.
The temple was opened after 46 years
The team of Archaeological Survey of India conducted a survey at several places on Friday. It also includes Kartik Mahadev temple, which was opened on 14 December after 46 years. It is being told that this temple was closed since the 1978 riots. Questions are also being raised about the survey. On which the DM of Sambhal has clarified that no dargah or mosque has been surveyed.
