America is going to build a sixth generation fighter aircraft, which will be named F-47. US President Donald Trump has entrusted Boeing with the task of building this fighter jet. He announced that the purpose of this deal is to replace the F-22 stealth war plane.

The F-22 aircraft has been in service for nearly two decades. Now the new fighter jets will be more advanced and capable of working with drones without a crew. A toned down version of the fighter jet F-47 will also be available to allied countries.

The F-47, which will replace the F-22 Raptor aircraft, will have a high level of maneuverability, stealth technology and the ability to maintain supersonic flight without supercruise or afterburner. Trump said the price of the deal is not being disclosed for security reasons.
