EID UL Fitr 2025: The Eid moon has been sighted in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow and Prayagraj. Now Eid will be celebrated across the country tomorrow. Khalid Rashid Farangi, President of Lucknow Idgah Imam Markazi Chand Committee, has announced that the Eid moon has been sighted today and Eid will be celebrated across the country tomorrow on March 31.
Lucknow Eidgah Imam Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali said, "The moon has been sighted today i.e. on March 30 and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on March 31. Namaz will be offered at Lucknow Eidgah at 10 am." Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali said while wishing Eid Mubarak
After the sighting of the Eid moon, like other parts of the country, the festival of Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated in Prayagraj tomorrow (31st March). After the sighting of the Eid moon, people burst crackers and fireworks and hugged each other and wished each other Eid Mubarak.
Keeping in mind the festival of Eid in Sambhal, Sadar SDM Vandana Mishra along with her entire team reached to inspect the city's Idgah. So that the Namazis do not face any kind of problem, the situation was inspected and Sambhal SDM Vandana Mishra instructed the Nagar Palika Parishad team to clean the Idgah.
Along with this, the officials are on alert regarding Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in Moradabad and DM Anuj Kumar and SSP Satpal Antil inspected the Eidgah. DM Anuj Kumar Singh and SSP Satpal Antil and SP City Kunwar Ranvijay Singh inspected the cleanliness of the Eidgah. Officials held meetings at every level with religious leaders and people of the metropolis. Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in the city will be held under the supervision of a heavy police force and the police will keep a close watch on every inch of the city.
