
Kullu Accident: A major accident took place in Manikaran, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh on Sunday (30 March). A large tree fell on several vehicles here, under which many people got buried. Kullu SP has confirmed the death of 6 people, while many people are seriously injured. Strong winds are being said to be the reason for the accident caused by the falling of the tree. At present, the police is engaged in the rescue operation. It is being told that the buried people have not been identified yet.
A hawker, Sumo driver and tourists died
in a tragic accident in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district, where 6 people died after a tree fell near the Manikaran Gurudwara. On getting the information of the incident, SDM Kullu Vikas Shukla also left for the spot. According to eyewitnesses, a pine tree broke and fell near the road right in front of the Manikaran Gurudwara, due to which a hawker standing there, a Sumo rider and three tourists, who were present at the spot, got buried under it. 6 people have died in the accident.
The deceased have not been identified
.At present, the deceased are being identified. ADM Kullu Ashwani Kumar informed that 6 people have lost their lives in the accident, while some people have been injured. With the help of local people, the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital.
The debris that fell from the hill is being removed.
When the tree fell from the hill, a lot of debris also came down with it. Now this debris has been removed and people are being searched underneath it as well. Relief and rescue operations are underway. It is feared that due to the landslide, the tree fell from the hill along with its roots and a large amount of debris also came down with it, in which many people may be buried. The administration is trying to evacuate people safely as soon as possible.
