Newly elected US President Donald Trump is constantly surprising everyone with his decisions. Trump also included many such people in his cabinet, whose names shocked everyone. Now, taking one such big decision, Trump has appointed tech billionaire Jared Isaacman as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) chief. 

Has a special relationship with Musk

Isaacman also has a special relationship with the big businessman and SpaceX owner Elon Musk. In fact, Isaacman became the first private astronaut to do a spacewalk in space in collaboration with SpaceX.

Trump posted

"I am pleased to nominate Jared Isaacman, an accomplished business leader, philanthropist, pilot and astronaut, to be NASA Chief of Mission. Jared will advance NASA's mission of discovery and inspiration, leading to unprecedented achievements in space science, technology and exploration," Trump said on X.

Isaacman was highly praised

Isaacman served for more than a decade as the co-founder and CEO of defense aerospace company Draken International, supporting the US Department of Defense and our allies, Trump said.

After being nominated for NASA Chief, Isaacman's statement has also come out. He said that he feels honored with this responsibility.
