In this episode, on Thursday, Akhilesh Yadav termed the Yogi Adityanath government as 'incompetent' and alleged that there has been unprecedented corruption in the state under the rule of this government. Not only this, Akhilesh also raised questions on the one trillion dollar economy of the Yogi government.
Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a press conference at the party headquarters today, where he also took a dig at the ambitious target of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath 's government to make Uttar Pradesh a trillion dollar economy. He asked, 'The government showed us the dream of a trillion dollar economy but the question is where is employment, where are jobs, where is investment? If the investment figures they are showing were correct, then there would have been jobs as well.'
GST fraud allegations
Akhilesh Yadav did not stop here. Citing some media reports, he also alleged large-scale fraud under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the state. He said, 'We have seen tax evasion of Rs 165 crore and Rs 300 crore. These are organized scams whose aim is to benefit a select few. Corruption is at its peak in the state and due to this inflation is also increasing.'
Questions raised on unemployment
Akhilesh Yadav also criticised the alleged poor state of education and employment in the state and blamed increasing privatisation and lack of government support. "The government promised affordable education and better jobs, but they have only given delivery-boy jobs. Education, employment and opportunities are being snatched away from PDA families - (backward, dalit and minority communities)," he said.
Questions raised on cyber
On the issue of cyber crime, he said that despite tall claims of digital governance, Uttar Pradesh tops the list in cyber fraud. IAS officers, doctors, police officers, no one is safe. Even knowledgeable people are falling prey to these scams and the government is sitting idle.
There will be an election between Yogi and his competitor
Yadav declared that the next Uttar Pradesh assembly election in 2027 will be a contest between 'Yogi versus competitors'. "Educated youth, job seekers and people seeking quality education and employment will remove this government," he said.
Question on health system
On the government's healthcare system, Akhilesh Yadav said, "A family had to travel from Gorakhpur to Lucknow for treatment. Imagine the condition of healthcare in the Chief Minister's own constituency. If a district where the Chief Minister often holds public meetings cannot have basic treatment, then what is the point of having a medical college or AIIMS there?" He termed the government's alleged attempt at privatisation as 'shameful' and warned that public property was being sold in a planned manner.

SP president Akhilesh Yadav alleged, "If everything is being sold, the government should at least tell what is left. Even the Jayaprakash Narayan Convention Centre in Lucknow is up for sale."
Took a dig at CM's residence
Taking a dig at the state government's action on madrassas and illegal encroachments in districts like Pilibhit, Bahraich and Shravasti, the SP president said, "Even the Chief Minister's residence does not have an approved map." Akhilesh Yadav also said that SP workers will now reach every village and town to build the party's grassroots organisation. He said, "Our workers will take the real issues of the people to the people and pave the way for forming a new government."
