NMDC Ltd informed before the market closed on Monday that the board of the company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.30 per share for the financial year 2025. The company said in an exchange filing, "The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held on Monday, 17 March 2025, among other things, declared the first interim dividend at the rate of Rs 2.30 per equity share of face value of Rs 1 for the financial year 2024-25." The company said that March 21, 2025 has been fixed as the record date for the dividend.

In the quarter ended December 2024, the company's profit grew 29 per cent to Rs 1,896.7 crore as compared to last year. The company had reported a profit of Rs 1,470 crore in the previous quarter a year ago. In the third quarter, the company's income grew 21.4 per cent to Rs 6,568 crore as compared to the same quarter last year, which is more than Rs 5,410 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. Stock performance After this announcement of the company, the stock has seen a rise, which was trading at Rs 64.80 with a gain of 1.55 per cent. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a decline of 4.10 per cent. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 95.45.
