Deoria Murder Case: Police has arrested two more accused in the famous Nehal Singh murder case of Deoria. Police has arrested five accused related to this murder case so far. In fact, on the day of Chhath Puja, near Jaddu Parsia village of Surauli police station area of ​​the district, miscreants shot and killed Shubham Singh alias Nehal, a resident of Samogar village. Police has already arrested three accused related to this murder. Police has arrested two accused named Anurag Gupta and Ashish Pandey in an encounter. The injured miscreants have been admitted to Deoria Medical College. Police has recovered illegal pistol, country-made pistol and bike from the possession of the miscreants.

Karni Sena's national president Veer Singh Veeru visited the victim's family at their home in Ramnath Deoria and inquired about the incident. He also expressed deep grief over the incident. BJP spokesperson Shalabh Mani Tripathi wrote a letter to the DGP regarding the murder of Nehal Singh. In which it was said that some accused have been arrested in this case, but many accused are yet to be arrested. He demanded that the case be investigated by STF officers.

Giving information about the incident, Additional SP Sunil Singh said that on 7 November 2024 (on the day of Chhath Puja) under the Surouli police station area of ​​​​Deoria, unknown accused shot and killed a young man. A case was registered after receiving a complaint in this matter. The police team had already arrested three accused while revealing the incident. Two more accused related to this murder have been arrested.
