Delhi Railway Station Stampede News: 18 people lost their lives due to the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday night. There was a huge crowd at the railway station to go to Prayagraj. People kept running here and there to save their lives and trampled others. In this rush, many people left their belongings at the railway station. Some people's slippers, some people's clothes and some other belongings were scattered at the railway station, foot over bridge and escalator, which was cleaned by railway employees on Sunday.

In this tragic accident of 15 February, 18 people lost their lives, including five children. 9 of these were from Bihar. All of them were waiting for the train to Prayagraj. There was a huge crowd at different stations and on foot over bridges for the trains going to Prayagraj. After the rescue operation, clothes, shoes, water bottles, bags and other belongings of the passengers were seen scattered in the railway premises. Railway cleaning workers were deployed to remove them.
