Aligarh News: A picture that shames humanity has emerged in Aligarh Muslim University. It has proved costly for the deaf and mute employees to tell their problems to the Assistant Registrar. It is alleged that the Assistant Registrar has misbehaved with the deaf and mute employees. The angry employees complained about the entire matter to the SSP of Aligarh. They also started protesting outside the Registrar's office. At present, the university administration has said that impartial action will be taken after investigation in this matter.

While giving information through the translator of the deaf and dumb employees, it was told that the deaf and dumb employees cannot speak or hear but they have got jobs under the special law of the government. They are getting all the services that they should get under the job. They are constantly making rounds of the officials to get their services but the officials are not ready to listen.

Demand for action against Assistant Registrar

The officers are harassing the deaf and dumb employees everyday but when the deaf and dumb employees wanted to know about the action taken in their case, the Assistant Registrar started misbehaving with them. Hurt by this, all the employees have demanded action against the Assistant Registrar.

Aligarh Muslim University Proctor Wasim Ali informed that a petition has been submitted by the deaf and dumb employees and its investigation is being done by the Registrar's office. An impartial investigation is going on in the whole matter and whatever legal action is required will be taken. At present, efforts are being made to convince the deaf and dumb employees and the AMU administration is investigating to fulfill the legitimate demands of the deaf and dumb employees.
